There was an improvement in the fuel consumption in the range
of 3.7 to 11.1%, when fuel & lube oil additives were employed. |

|
Emissions
were reduced with the use of fuel & lube oil additives, as
follows:
|

NOX : 24.2% reduction with
fuel additive, 22.6% reduction with fuel & lube oil
additives.
|

CO : 43.5% reduction with
fuel additive, 52.5% reduction with fuel & lube oil
additives.
|
-
HC : 12.7% reduction with
fuel additive, 41.2% reduction with fuel & lube oil
additives.

Wear and
Tear |
-
After completion of the
test, changes in mass of engine valves were negligible.
|
-
No scar mark, scratch mark
were found visually on engine valves and piston bowl.
